Story via @tahneamarie
I've never really done a 'mom crush Monday' but I'll start today with this lady @chrissyteigen. Her post in @glamourmag was incredible. She discusses her journey through postpartum depression and it's very enlightening. I was never diagnosed with PPD but there were times I felt just like she did. It's hard being a mother and being a first time mom myself I felt very overwhelmed and sometimes like a completely different person. I thought my fiance was going to shriek in fear that this would be the woman I would become for the remainder of my life.
I have never been more thankful for my family and fiance during this time because I was a lot to handle. The littlest things made me cry and I worried I wouldn't be myself again. Almost 5 months postpartum for me and I look back and thank God for giving not just me the strength but my family and fiance, because I put them through the ringer. So thank you to those kind souls as well. I love you more than you know. And to you Lilly; you were and still are worth every single bump in the road. ❤
